But they’re right when they say she lacks courage. She’s avoiding doing what’s right (removing Adams) until she sees where the political chips are falling.
I disagree. The man has been compromised. Even if he is innocent, the PR was not battled well, and he is tainted by it. We cannot argue that T is criminal and then run our dubious candidates.
Remember when Lee Zeldin ran for governor of NY in 2022 and promised to fire the Manhattan DA on his first day of office? It was pretty much his entire campaign.
If she boots Adams now, he becomes a martyr for the right. At the rate he is going he will break state laws soon. It is only then that she should consider acting.
The conservatives love him because he’s basically a Republican in every meaningful way, and always has been. He throws money at the cops, cuts library service on the weekends to pay for it, opens the doors across the city for ICE… he’s owned by Trump right now, they love making Eric Adams dance.
It's funny that the MAGAs who love to criticize corrupt Democrat leaders of liberal cities (especially if they're not white) are now jumping on the bandwagon to defend one who's clearly corrupt.
When I was younger, I used to love reading the post. However, and with age, I've come to realize that it's a terrible propaganda piece for the right to create class warfare and racism amongst ignorant (the gop voting class). Oh and I'm not as retarded as I once was either too. Personal growth ya'll
This feed is supposed to be a break from the political posts. That's why we have feeds. What's you're sharing is certainly important, but there are appropriate places to share it. Our mental health is also important. Please respect that.
Rupert Murdoch is 93 and lost his trust case putting Lachlan in charge when he croaks.
James (Harris supporter), Prudence (worried about climate) & Elisabeth don’t like the Fux Lie Empire, they can dismantle it. It’s a matter of time.
I'm not sure who "all" includes, because there are definitely good journalism outlets (e.g. Wired, Mother Jones, Zeteo, etc.). The ones one doesn't like should be refuted and/or ignored, so as the build up a movement of discrediting them. I agree that billionaires should be scrutinized.
Those are fine outlets. Good to keep a varied media diet. Put Propublica in there too. However, the big newspapers of note (& particularly their editorial boards) are extremely compromised.
However, the very existence of billionaires is a problem. 1 billion is more money than god. Megalomania money
I don't trust them,

I assume a better plan is to find an upstanding Democrat to primary him into oblivion. Then the state can prosecute him.
I mean, I'm flattered they see us as a credible threat?
That's something.
