I started supporting united in the 70s & did most of the 26 yrs with no league title, but even in those dark days there were teams & players we could love watching. Buchan, Moran, coppell, hill, Pearson, Greenhoffs, macari, Jordan, Robbo etc. I feel sorry for anyone who started in the last 10 yrs. - ThreadSky

It’s weird because in the 80’s I was never arsed that we didn’t win the league, because we were at least entertaining & we had characters- Cup wins felt huge. This current lot (in the main) can go fuck themselves.

Sounds like the first time I took one of my lads when he was about 10. Got home and his mother asked him if he enjoyed the match and he goes "yeah it was good... AND WE HAD HOT DOGS!" 🤣
