There’s been a big issue in the last ten years or so of not trusting the source material of great women writers.

There have been shockingly bad adaptations of Christie, Daphne du Maurier, and Shirley Jackson, etc.

I'm with you. Always nice to see new adaptations of Agatha Christie, but they do seem to miss the sharp witty dialogue of the books & her understanding of people and society.
Also a big fan of Hugh Fraser. Loved him as Lord Wellington in Sharpe too.

I love anything Agatha Christie. Happy with re-tellings or modernisations but it’s got to remain a decent story and at least 1 sympathetic character. This was bloody awful.

I guess I'll watch this one. Murder is Easy is one of my favorite Christies, and I didn't make it too far in the latest adaptation. But also, if anyone sees this who might like to review her through audiobooks, Hugh Fraser narrated some, and they're very enjoyable.
