And the proposal is to reduce the autumn eligibility to the same groups - excluding a lot of clinically vulnerable individuals if the government accepts the recommendation 🫤

I think if people want the booster they should be allowed it. It doesn't make sense to restrict availability on economic grounds. We've never before been okay with people catching a virus over and over. People who think they're fine because they're healthy might not be healthy after the 10th time.

I qualify but didn't have the autumn booster as I could only access Moderna locally & after being rather unwell for several weeks (fever etc for 48 hours then bad arthritis flare) after my Spring booster I'm not having that one again. I'm fine with Pfizer but 🤷‍♀️ whether I'll be able to access it

Do you know what is not testing and underreporting, Prof Christina Pagel? And why can the acute phase become milder and the infectious processes later on not so?
Can't you see the woods for the trees? Why other health issues are not linked to sars2?

Aha! It's hospital admissions .. for COVID. So if you're not testing and someone goes in for a heart attack, is it counted?

The idea that it's that much lower than the flu is ridiculous.

Heavy underreporting of cõvid doesn't instill any confidence in the assessment of current situation. Hospitals continue to under test for cõvid on numerous levels in clear breach of reporting requirements!
