If 1/2 those people got off their asses and voted in November, they wouldn't be needing to be protesting in April.

Even agreeing with their sentiment, I still am bitter knowing all of this could have been avoided if more people voted.

Lots of folks stopped to take a photo of MOCAD because it was pretty impactful to see a stream of protestors go by the building with its sign that reads “EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALL RIGHT.”

I’m so glad I went. It was amazing to see little kids passionately starting chants until they were red in the face. I felt hope for the first time in a long time.

My kid was chanting “my body my choice” at the top of her lungs and I caught a woman behind us clearly getting a bit emotional about it, it was pretty sweet. She also got a real kick out of all the anti Musk chants.

It was hard to tell from the street but anytime I could scamper up on a fence you could see it was big. And it seriously stretched from the DIA to Grand Circus and back! And not a counter protestor in sight.

Yep, not to mention that protests should be inconvenient AND basically ever vehicle was full of supporters. I made sure the kid and I took to the street for a while but there wasn’t enough of a collective will for it.

Exactly! I've seen a lot of protests in my decade in this city but never any starting and finishing there. As someone who was sporting a sign about libraries and museums it really hit me so hard when we got back to the starting point and there were folks rallied in front of both buildings.
