I was at Momocon the whole weekend and I can confirm everyone I saw was super nice and just generally enjoying themselves and each other. There will always be the bad apples but most of the time going to in person events is filled with really fun people.

Only been to a couple cons, but they're a blast! Biggest one was in Ottawa and they had all gender bathrooms. I remember thinking how poorly that could go, but never heard a single issue. Almost like people can understand and respect boundaries in society. 😅

When I first went to my first con way back then in... 2014 (my back!) I was so grumpy from my time with fast food service and just hating the sight of people at times. Then getting to see fellow nerds that are just nice and passionate totally made me toss away the "Ugh, people." mentality.
