That's exactly it. With OBGYNs fleeing the abortion ban states, who is going to care for these pregnant women, especially when / if something goes wrong? This is just going to kill more women by trapping them in the states where they live.

This doesn’t make sense to me, but I’m not a lawyer or live in Idaho.

I’ve read the argument that it’s a state law and state elected officials are voted in by their citizens. So their majority are OK with this, or they wouldn’t have voted the way they did.

Yes, agreed. Just boggles my mind that Idahoan politicians would do something that kills innocent women, and those women voted for those politicians. In theory politicians represent what their constituents want, but I don’t get why women would want that for themselves, daughters & friends.
