what a cute little voice. he's spoken before but not nearly so enthusiastically or conversationally so it's new to get to really hear his speaking voice
true to form he waited until 5 minutes to bedtime exactly on his 18 month birthday exactly which is the cutoff for "if you're not figuring out using real language, you bigtime have to go to the doctor" literally within minutes of earning himself a play date with the audiologist
My kid (now 16 and I can’t get him to shut up) had childhood apraxia of speech. Do not freak out and go search it, but maybe take a look? We knew for sure once he picked up words like this for a weekend and then never said them again. More parents should be aware because pediatricians aren’t.
we've been saying "howdy" to both of them constantly in an effort to force that one into rotation but it seems to not have taken! or maybe he's trying to say howdy and can only do the first bit
i think you might be talking about sports! this is a post about a baby saying hi! but i can ask him what he thinks about the blazers in the morning and get his take on it

(I wonder what variation he's going to go with. Is he a "hey" or a "hello" kid? Or stick with "hi" / "hi hi"?)
