There was no way these firings would have been good, but wow, I assumed they did SOME research. I assumed they wouldn't fire nuclear bomb guys or make sure the planes don't crash guys.

It's just like last fucking time, they're being even worse than my most pessimistic predictions.

I’m not excited about developing a phobia of flying again. As a Sagittarius, it’s out of character for me. After the pandemic, I was soooo nervous to fly. I needed my dog to fly with me. Might have to scale back on flying again. 😩

i don’t know about anyone else, but i’m perfectly fine staying put for the time being. i can fly again once there’s a proper FAA in place without having to worry if fELON is injected some malicious code into our air traffic control systems

I know somewhere you can rent a 1946 Piper J3 cub. It doesn’t even have a radio on it, so you can fly wherever you want unaffected by the coming catastrophic shortage of controllers (at about 65 knots).

Yup…

I was thinking primarily domestic ones (eg YYZ -> YVR) which tend to pass through U.S. airspace without landing or stopping there… despite how rare mid-air crashes are, I don’t want Canadian aviation to end up being compromised by its southern neighbor
