Yikes. Seems like he didnβt factor in the price of Labor, building, staffing, and I guess heβs allowing workplace safety to return to the 1800βs.
Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow? It's pointless. The anger will steadily grow as people realize all the ways these tariffs impact them.
I couldnβt for the life of me figure out the why for all of this backwards nonsense
Then he goes βfor some unknown reason they invented the income tax.β he wants to get rid of it and officially he & his boys never have to pay taxes again, even though billionaires already donβt. Thatβs the endgame
Sitting here waiting for the Futures market to restart , , 1 hour pause every night then it's off to the races again. The final 20 minutes seem to settle a bit, we'll see 0_0
Yup. Insider trading happens on both sides of the aisle. But this is an unprecedented case where the POTUS has been jerking the stock market up and down - giving huge incentive for manipulation.

The coming recession, sorry, Depression, is going to absolutely shock the American public in ways that people who have no ideas what a "Tariff" is, can possible comprehend. And that's probably more than half of this nation.
Agreed. If we look up the Smoot-Hawley Tariff act of 1930, we've already eclipsed what it did then.

Seems odd how the markets keep not pricing in that Trump will do stupid stuff like this, and will keep doing it. Trump might be a massive liar but he seems determined that tariffs will magically make the economy better and bring in massive revenue even though it will do the opposite.
He wants to drop stock prices as deep as possible so as to make it cheaper for his redhat MAGAT cult friends to buy in. Not that I expect him to renenge anytime soon on this tariffs stuff, but he's got something else at play besides hurting virtually every normal American's bank account.
And if anyone had insider knowledge as to exactly what those tariffs were going to be and whether they were going to be called off quickly or not, they could make a killing in a few days.
And they likely have done so several times in the last 72 days.
shorter speech shorter drop - who thinks him rambling about the word groceries - which I use on the regular - helpful - dude who brings him oversized stuff to sign announces how happy he to be on team - people are seriously dumb - not a lot of excel skills in the crown

Quiet announcements that people in the admin sold off huge amounts of stocks just before.
When the stocks have tanked for a few weeks and are dirt cheap, people in the admin will buy lots of stock.
Then Trump will revoke the tariffs, and stocks will go back up.
It's all a grift.
You know, hypothetically. Like if they were corrupt or something. π
Theyβve likely been prepped to sell as soon as the announcement was out.
Tomorrow will be a bloodbath.

There's good money to be made during a crisis. Look at the billionaires during Covid.

Okay... as puns go... that was a complete failure. Almost as big a failure as the tariffs.
And they likely have done so several times in the last 72 days.
Stay home on Election Day because Harris was too ideologically impure for your tastes? You did this.
