5/ I've done a bit more poking around because I'm certainly not an expert on the US Marshals and I feel on stronger ground saying this is not what the marshals are authorized to do. Their primary role is protecting the judiciary and enforcing its orders.

This needs a lot of attorneys looking at it. Start w/ @marcelias.bsky.social who I thought mentioned an attorney fund. Agency staff and heads must know exactly who they have to listen in law enforcement. What's more to what extent they can retain Dough Boys from stealing data, citizens arrest etc.

Blackwater now named Constellis has extensive government contracts (see Google) including the building security for a large chunk of Federal office buildings.

It’s possible Musk’s security guards (now deputized US Marshals) are also Constellis/Blackwater.

More likely it would be federal protective service that provides security at federal buildings, I don’t believe though they would necessarily have access to all offices but they might. But the other commenters notes and deputizing private security as Marshall’s seems not unlikely.
