Congrats, Michael. I have to say that the JEP is my favorite journal as well. It's the place I go to learn about neat new ideas as well as big picture syntheses that are well written and which can be taught in the classroom.

Thank you so much. It has so many roles, such as for researchers to stay abreast of various areas, for students, for policymakers. And beyond those, I see a crucial role even for specialists: Most journals punish conjecture, vision, and reframing, which to me are crucial to scientific advance

It's a wonderful journal. My main complaint is that it's one of the main reasons behind my Malthusian reading tragedy: my pending reads increase exponentially while time advances linearly.
