Now seems like a great time to revive my ongoing Twitter 🧵 about chocolate. Bulk cocoa is inequitable and catastrophic for the planet: paltry remuneration incentivises West African farmers to engage in slash-and-burn agriculture that drives significant deforestation; child labour is rife.
