Sens. Schiff and Booker, along with Rep. Raskin, are demanding answers from DOJ over its reported attempt to block ex-pardon attorney Liz Oyer from participating in an oversight hearing.

"This thuggish act is an escalation of this Administration's attacks on career officials" across the DOJ.

The problem is that it's difficult to combat unconstitutional behavior with legal means without the appropriate laws. In that case, judges would have to personally hold the people who initiated such actions accountable. Members of the legislature can't do much personally.
