Rewatching TOS for the millionth time and guess what? Still puts modern TV to shame. Nothing beats those classic dramatic...pauses, those velour uniforms, and that pure sci-fi magic. Greatest show ever made, don't @ me 🖖✨
Yes and no, it's a big moment in ST2. Also, the Motion Picture Enterprise is so pretty with its shades of white, grey, and opal gloss it just sparkles in the correct light. This Enterprise is gorgeous but so flat/dull coat down it's sad the work of art of the Motion Picture Enterprise is gone.

When I was a kid, we watched Star Trek on Tuesday nights on a 19 inch RCA cathode ray tube TV with a rabbit ear antenna. And the torpedoes were just as glorious. Only don’t look away for a second because there is no rewind.

Pain and shame for being who I am and allowed me a small taste of freedom. It’s how I managed to get any sleep during my childhood. Drifting off, dreaming of a family that loves me 🥰
It was a bit naïve of me, but I actually thought that in the final episode of that season, each crew member would take one of the hero ships to fight the Borg. I was hoping to see the refit Enterprise (A) in battle one last time.
