That’s my interpretation, yup. Happens in pwME when they improve considerably but not 100%. They feel so much better and feel guilty saying they’re still ill as they are able to ‘live’ much more than others so they describe themselves as recovered. But it’s still there, just much less.

I’ve had long covid for over 2 years now. It’s not as bad as it was a year ago so it’s easy to imagine I’m a lot better than I really am, until I remember that strong and active woman of 3 years ago and realise there is absolutely no comparison. I’ll never be ok again, is the simple fact.

I had migraines and other weird neuro things. I didn't get the CFS that some have with LC

Oh I see. The fatigue is a huge part of it for me, but also assorted neuro - random pain eg toothaches, POTS-type events, tremor, brain fog - occasional bouts of diarrhoea for no reason -
Mentally apart from the fog I’m fine.
