impossible to explain this to someone even 5 years younger than me, but from like 2007-2011 basically everybody in my age group would voluntarily go on Facebook and post basically every detail of our personal lives, along with pictures

Time was that you had to wait until you got home to complain, which gave you a cool-down period!
