To all indie game developers with mining in their games....
BRONZE IS NOT AN ORE!
IT'S NOT NATURAL!
BRONZE IS AN ALLOY MADE OUT OF COPPER AND ANOTHER METAL!
DO NOT DO THAT MISTAKE!
Thank you.

I will develop a game which implements that exact problem of yours only to fuck you up!
hehe…HEHEHEHEHE
... forges do not work like that.
I'm thinking: have all of the ores be alloys and you have to put them through a machine to get the basic metals.
Want Iron? You need to mine some steel ore then unsmelt it to get iron and carbon.
English is not my first language, I forgot the word and so I wrote down "metal".
Also thanks for most people to understand that this is not supposed to be taken serious, but just an annoyed outburst by someone who had to study metallurgy 🫡
Then I also want steel ores.
Game devs: hire me to solve your lore problems, I gotchu.
E.g. Coral Island has it
Oh I found bronze. Yes this place has a history.
But in certain games you can mine bronze as an ore itself., "bronze ore".
Give me pewter ore, gunmetal ore, and duralumin ore.

You basically have to search rock formations for concentrations of different metals and need to find Tin and Copper in the regions you just searched and mix them in the right amount in a crucible to get Tin bars.
Optimal seems to be 8% Tin and the rest copper.
- Extract chalcopyrite, but also tetrahedrite, bornite and enargite, and process these ores to obtain copper,
- Extract cassiterite and process it to extract tin.
- Then create your alloy...
Iron is more common than copper, copper is a valuable metal with tons of uses. Stop making it garbage tier!
Stop putting Silver/gold metal things as stronger/more durable than steel.
Just use made up metal names already!
Also yes it's a solid mineral you can mine.
Steel is also not found naturally....
And obsidian is volcanic glass...
Was I lied to?
The white flesh is actually edible! We use that to make candy filling and strain the juices for coconut milk!
~ adds Epoxi Ore ~
😂
Short answer being: You're more likely to find caves behind waterfalls if rock formation is limestone.
This is a good post. I am happy.
