I have tried to play this like 5 times. I don't know why but I just can't get a hang of riding the horse which you know is a pretty fundamental part of the game 😅
Same. Controller is essential and made all the difference for me. Also have to change settings for steering the horse from the horse's POV vs 3rd person.
At some point next year, I’m going to finally finish it.
I’ll play RDR2 fairly frequently for a month or so and then just take an indefinite break until it feels right to get back to it. I wan to say early spring was my last foray.
I think you’ll have a lot fun doing the variety of stuff available to do in this game! 😮
It’s so easy to get distracted from the main storyline with this game because of all the random stuff you can find around this beautiful open-world masterpiece! 😊
This was almost my exact experience, I bought it to play online w my friends once. I literally started the story a week ago and it’s really good, I just never gave it the time before
I bought it initially and let it sit around for a couple years. I finally got around to it a few months ago and it’s amazing. Best video game I’ve ever played. So many little nuggets to find in every town, nook, and cranny. Robberies, treasures, a vampire, a serial killer…
I kind of barrelled through the story first time out and when I first replayed it I very much took a slower approach and the difference was night and day.
The only part I played was when my kid had me clean up the poker table for him. Can't wait to dig into this one as well... but it's pretty far down the list, sadly.
i remember standing in town and some one bumped into me and suddenly ALL the sheriff badges on the WHOLE map lit up!! i want to know when the old west got cell phones!
Remember when I said I got armored core and cyberpunk for $50 total? Two days later GameStop did buy 2 get 1 free, so I rebought them but with RDR2. So so got all three for $53 total.

That game set the bar so high nothing has come close to touching, it in terms of a living breathing world
My only worry is that I won’t click with the pace, but I’m not TOO worried
If you just scarf it down without appreciating it’s finer aspects, it’s not going to be appreciated
It demands you to stop and smell the roses
It's an immense and beautiful world. To push through it with an aim to 'finish the game' is an insult to the work of art it is.
Go off-piste. Explore and discover. I'll forever wish I could play it for the first time again.

I’m jealous of your first time. That game is INCREDIBLE
Called my IRL buddy told him to hop on… 15 minutes later he shows up, I blasted him in the head with a rifle, uninstalled and never played again.
This time I’ll ACTUALLY play. 💀😭
Saved you 60 hours
Take your time.

I just had a different idea of what i wanted it to be😅
You will cry.
Take it slow. Live in it for a while.
