I love Costco, I shop there every month ($200-300) and I will boycott them. I am east coast so non-union costcos.

I haven’t been to a Starbucks in years for the same reason.

As always, take your cues from the union about boycotting etc but I would assume that the union would discourage supporters from shopping at a non-union warehouse, not just crossing a picket at a unionized one

Only about 8% of Costco workers are in a union, mostly at West Coast warehouses (including the ones in San Diego, where I live). Hopefully a successful new contract for those workers will inspire other warehouse workers to organize.

Seeing some "Teamsters are a maga union!!!!" shit and the fact that they didn't endorse Harris wouldn't change how I feel about the strike, but you should know that most of the locals repping the Costco warehouse workers actually did endorse Harris (from wikipedia's list of Harris endorsements)

I worked strikes in my career and I would not cross a picket line but union really need to up their game on comms. With so little outlined other than “big profits” not much to be done. Most unions really need to up their game.

Thanks for the list. It’s a shame that their leadership is so terrible to give them the MAGA reputation. Unfortunately I’m not seeing the local for my area on the list, and the polling I found on Teamsters’ website indicates they were likely strongly pro-Trump, so I’m still pretty torn on the issue.

I work at Costco and just had a discussion with other workers there and the problem is literally the goat fucking Teamsters. Any other union and it would be quite different. SIEU, etc etc. this is the group that refused to endorse Harris and I have zero confidence they give a shit about me.
