At the restaurant I bussed tables at in high school we had this insane server who randomly went out and bought a new white BMW with a $700/month payment (in 2003 money) because she wanted to "feel successful." She had her boyfriend's number labelled "CHEATER" in her phone.

She showed all of us this and made a big deal out of it - apparently he had cheated on her but they stayed together and this was her way of punishing him or something. She'd answer her phone and go like "hi cheater!"

Later she got fired after getting caught having sex with the restaurant manager (not her boyfriend) in his car during their shift. It would be a better story tbh if it had been in her BMW but I guess you don't want to fuck up the leather seats.

I inherited one from an uncle I loved, I’ve driven it for two years and it’s been a massive pain in my ass and expensive as hell. I tried to make it work out of sentimentality but fuck that car and bmws generally
