Hello, I am Waseem. We are still at war and the situation is very difficult. This is one of the difficulties we face. It's my mother's essential medicine to stay healthy. It is very expensive and not widely available. Please donate to us.
Yes, almost everyone in my family flies gliders. I didn’t like it - too much unpredictable up-and-down, like a roller coaster I couldn’t see or predict. No engine= you may land in a field. I kept getting motion sick and I refuse to fly in them. But a lot of people love it!
yes did a week's course once, Lots of training flts and then 2 solos, wch wasnt quite enough to qualify for the lowest basic glider pilot licence. Loved it!
My mother, who was terrified of flying, was a passenger and loved it. She said she always worried about the plane engine malfunctioning and since there was no engine she was happy.
The balloon seemed really serene and there was more control than you'd think. But you're right that the glider can maneuver better. We had good pilots for both.
This was awhile ago, but the balloon pilot did say that all balloon landings are categorized as crash landings by the FAA, by definition!
