I’m a Xennial. I can tell you most of the folks in my generation are struggling and having to work multiple jobs with massive student debt (still in our late 40s) while having families and also taking care of aging parents. Most of us are with you but juggling a lot. Students may be scared.

Mid-40s here. Totally agree, I wish I could come to these rallies and protests, it's awesome to see. But I have little control of my own schedule, nobody to do care work in my place, can't afford to travel, and absolutely MUST NOT get arrested. Just to be clear about what my life is like, I have had no vacation since 2019 other than 3 days away two years ago. My dad had cancer. He died in 2023. It was sad & hard. I am still managing a complex estate as I type. I work.
My life is on the back burner.
I turn out.
