Recommendations please for tv shows/podcasts to watch/listen to while wrapping presents while exhausted? The Gilded Age would have been perfect if I hadn’t just finished it.

Thoughts and prayers. My 7yo got a Dreamhouse for her birthday yesterday and the deal is that she doesn't get to open the actual box until she's off from school next week unless she's SUPER GOOD and then she can help me build it over the weekend.
Fun! Such a wide field. I'm perpetually recommending the sitcom Great News to people, because it's underappreciated, makes me laugh, and is so wonderfully EASY (but clever). Created by a 30 Rock alum, with a mother-daughter relationship at its center. (Have I tried to make you watch it before?)
Podcasts: Really enjoying "The Big Dig"! An entertaining, detailed but fast-moving story of Boston's massive infrastructure project, with some great characters (and accents). I also love "If Books Could Kill," if you haven't tried it yet—clever and funny analyses/takedowns of popular big-idea books
Yes! @lindsaygoldwert.bsky.social encouraged me to listen, and for a story about city infrastructure, it's a surprisingly feel-good and filled with good intentions and competence
Oh, yes, definitely an IBCK fan, probably thanks to you originally recommending Maintenance Phase. I’m so glad The Big Dig is good—I’ll look forward to it! (Did you ever hear of Richest Hill, from Montana Public Radio, about Butte? Also on the dig theme.)
Actual play D&D shows! Most of it is spoken out loud and imagined, so you don't need to be looking at the screen. Critical Role and Dimension 20 are both terrific. (D20 is probably easier to get into just because the seasons are much shorter.)
Some fluffy TV:
Julia (Max) Julia Child! With Bebe Neuwirth! And David Hyde Pierce!
Reacher (Amazon) Big guy hit bad guy fun
Deadloch (Amazon) Broadchurch but funny, in New Zealand, with lesbians
Good Omens 2 (Amazon) sweeter and lovelier than the first season
The Rest Is History has been a great podcast I listen to entirely out of order, as the mood strikes, while commuting/cooking/eating/QCing document review.
The Dirt Podcast! https://the-dirt-podcast.captivate.fm Anna and Amber are college pals of mine and fellow archaeology majors. They do very entertaining and educational deep-dives into all sorts of archaeology and anthropology topics.
If you have Netflix, something like Great British Bake Off, Glow Up, and The Floor Is Lava are all fairly low-stakes shows that don't need your full attention.
Butting in to say - I don't think it matters that much, they're all fun, but I'd try for a season without Matt as host. If you can find the early BBC versions with Mary Berry, Mel, and Sue, those are the best.
I will always recommend Gladio Free Europe and Well There's Your Problem although you can probably do all your wrapping in the time it takes to finish their Penn Central series
Nice—thank you!! The good news is that I have a lifetime of doing dishes and folding laundry to look forward to after the presents are done…so plenty of listening time ahead…

Swords of Damocles get a bad rap I think.
Great News (Netflix) as already mentioned.
Better Things (Hulu) Pamala Adlon is brilliant in this fun, funny and feminist show about life.
Letterkenny (Hulu) weird & fun & clever comedy about small town life in Canada.

Lawyers Behaving Badly is the gossip column of law and is really funny and interesting stories about bad lawyers.
However, if you are also named Paul Fisher, I must destroy you as there can only be one.
