Genuine question does your phone not pull text for you? I have a Samsung. If I do a screen cap of an image with text it will pull the text from that image for me that I can copy.
It takes 20 seconds. I'm struggling to understand the reluctance to properly alt text

Does that only show up according to the device’s settings instead of being native to the app?
in the samsung photo app, open any picture containing text.
click the big yellow T in the lower right corner of the screen.
click select all, click copy, paste the text into the alt text box, and check for errors.
click save.
done.
Just install Google lens.
Then share the image from wherever to Google lens, the option to select text will appear.

I can't do it always, I literally post hundreds of messages of post on several platforms.
I say, you created the problem by yourself, having the need to post those amounts of posts... instead of quality in each message/skeet.
"You're not even a follower of me."
Mostly I just don't photo post.
If I screencap, the text doesn't seem to automatically pull, so I'll find myself going back to the original to copy the text in the region I captured.
My only hesitation is that my posts typically get only one or two interactions, if that.
I do alt-text, but my phone is the one place where I don't.

(Although it's a little picky about formatting/quality--there are some images where it just doesn't pick up text, and selects the image as an object instead.)
I stopped making misogynist jokes when I noticed it was a staple of the far right.
I think we should add alt text now the Trump administration not only removes references to transgender and climate, but also removes alt text to make sites less accessible.
