When processing astronomical images, there's no color added, but sometimes different wavelengths of light are chosen to be represented in different colors.
In my case here I only have a single wavelength so it's just black and white for now.
We have a 10" dob now, but haven't pulled it out for a while.
We've taken photos with our phones through the telescope and use a piece of plywood with a hole that fits over the eyepiece and then attach the phone to the plywood with a hair tie and line it up with the eyepiece LOL, very sophisticated.
Very cool!
I would hang a wall-sized poster in my office and stare in awe and wonder when it daytime.
