This is Truss-level stuff.
The OBR does not incorporate the "lower skills profile" of migrant workers or the "displacement of British workers" precisely because they *are* paying attention to what the data and evidence say (unlike, it seems HO/No.10)

A bigoted and damaging approach to running the country which has already afflicted the UK in the past decades.

So they need to make some up. (Ends)
Hopefully local elections will finish him off
Whatever he once had going for him has now clearly gone.
He needs to go.

Simplistically blaming immigration for falling living standards is easier to believe than a detailed analysis of the labour market
It's reasonable to look for unprecedented long term factors; eg recent immigration levels.
The questions have been asked, the conclusions are not secret - they are just not 'immigration'.
Especially given all the variation in levels and policy since then?
Are you sure you aren't just question begging here?
When the policies keep changing and the outcomes don't (stretched public services despite high taxes, low investment, low wage growth), I look for another steady factor.
so pre-2008 immigration was only "exposed" (what??) after the GFC, as if it was some problem that economic growth was hiding.
https://mainlymacro.blogspot.com/2022/06/why-has-uk-real-wage-growth-been-so-low.html?m=1
First chart below is Sky's version of a well reported data set, and the second chart is from the ONS link you provided - shows the long term trend, and wage shock/low outturn during the 2010s, struggling to climb to lowest of previous decades
So I'll always be looking for another explanation. Stagnation and statis are the real demoralisers.
It is nonsense to try and claim that "stagnation and stasis" (I assume you meant stasis) are down to immigration. How?
Apparently, McSweeney has a daily phone call with BL and Glasman speaks to the PM weekly.
This Labour Party is not as it appears.
