I was up about 3 rows from the front at Iggy Pop on Saturday and a couple of young folk barged through the mosh pit to join us.

They then proceeded to spend the next 10 mins having a chat while everyone around them was in the moment. It was very weird.

I think the worst I've encountered was a Neutral Milk Hotel gig, their first show in decades, and when he was singing the most beautiful, most tender line of the whole show, some lad shouted GWAN MAYO!

This happened at a Pink Floyd Experience gig. Maybe 10 years ago, I was the youngest person there by about 30 years. I was also the most sober. At the end, full laser show, the climax (stop that) to speak. Man sitting behind me ROARING 'H'UP WEXFORD' over and over and over again in my ear.

I got free tickets to very expensive seats at the LA Philharmonic for some famous violinist and the woman beside me not only put make up on with her phone for light for about 40 minutes interrupted by applauding whenever there was a pause in the music.

Eventually the violinist just stopped and stared at her and the others around her who followed along when she applauded and asked people to wait for proper breaks...and she went right back to the makeup and clapping in any break of more than two seconds.

A counterpoint! We were in the very (very) back row of seating and in the intermission a steward came and scolded the 2 rows in front of us for talking in the first half! They weren't being anywhere near as obnoxious as other behaviours we've witnessed in past gigs, we were amazed!
