I have been all Blue Sky since I got the app earlier this week. Much better than Threads honestly. I left TwitterX a couple of years ago. Threads sufficed for awhile, but BlueSky is definitely better for me.

On its face I’m sure it seems like a savvy business move to leverage the network effects of your existing platforms (FB/Insta) but I’m personally looking for different connections/information/freedom to post away from my personal/biz circle and don’t need nor want them to be linked together

One of the things making threads unusable is that notifications do not reliably work. When notifications stop loading after a certain number, and the followers list doesn’t load at all, that’s a problem. Having been targeted on twitter I want to know who’s following me and responding to my posts

IG keeps pushing it at me and I keep ignoring it. I never linked FB to IG. Didn’t seem like they needed that much control. Thinking this app can replace the fun I had on twitter if can find enough Grizz buzz. Found you there and now here. Voice of reason.

I stayed loyal to Threads without much complaint until my OG account was suspended after over a year, and watched OG account after OG account were suspended, and I watched as Threads moderation continued a censorship campaign against women who showed their bodies at all. Meta did this to themselves.
