Confirms what I’ve been thinking about ‘the thirds’: the Harris voters, the Trump voters, and the remaining third. Seems like the last group are our best bet.

The best way to appeal to that last third is with strong, unambiguous gains for the working class (M4A, decreased retirement age, more social security, lower housing costs, free or low tuition uni, fund apprenticeship programs)
And fearlessly pair it with a clear, principled ideological backbone.
Half of all people voted at all. Around quarter of people voted for Trump. There's a big pool of non Trump voters to pick and I can't figure out why this focus on getting them.
To put a finer point on it: There are committed Harris voters, committed Trump voters, and loosely tied voters (who go either way based on the last thing they heard). Committed Trump voters aren’t worth it, but some loosely tied Trump voters would be easy to peel off.

That’s a lot easier than converting people who hate you!
That’s just substituting jackals for dingoes.
