Just found the wildest pizza menu of all time, from Francine's Pizza Jungle in Portland, 1957

It needs a slightly better canned fruit & probably something other than just apple sauce as the sauce, but the jungle pizza intrigues as a dessert pizza.

How large was their fridge and stock room? They had to keep everything from Smoked Frog Legs to Spuds to Shrimp on hand.

There's no way that shrimp was fresh too. The regulars must have known wich orders to avoid inorder to survive.

Mostly I'm offended by that "cocktail fruit" in "Jungle pizza", since the only cocktail fruit I know is a tinned monstrosity that's about 20% mushy fruit and 80% sickeningly sweet syrup. I do not want a wet pizza that tastes like overripe papaya and sugar.
