One of the problems we have on the left is the fact that for some, no apology is ever sincere enough, repeated often enough, or even believed at all. With those incentives, the best course of action for many would be not to apologize at all. Contrition becomes moot, they want only confession...

I will always respect anyone willing to own up to their mistakes. Especially when it's so public. We need more people like you. Yet, even as I say this, I'm not feeling very forgiving towards the 2024 voters. Voting for this iteration of Trump required a special kind of wickedness or stupidity.
