Simple. Corporate media protects corporate interests (Republicans).

Obama was a threat to the planned corporate takeover of government. They weren’t going to let that happen 40 years after than plan was hatched with the Powell memo.

Yes. And some of the philosophy of the "Freedom" Caucus, which has given the current administration some of its worst ideas, did come from the Tea Party. I dipped my toe into Tea Party ideology and walked away from it to become a flaming moderate. The Tea Party is culpable for some of this.

Looking back on it, the TEA Party cloaked itself in fiscal responsibility (which got folks like me on board).

The reality of the TEA Party was they just didn't like the Black guy in office.

Flipping out over a tan suit proved that to me.

MAGA is just a more honest TEA Party.
