Do you think the electorate changes enough to prevent what happened to Bonds/Clemens in that they never were able to squeeze enough votes after a couple of boosts? I’d like to see Beltran in sooner rather than later and the ballots are thinner than BB/RC so I think that helps

The resistance to BB/RC was much more firm, I think. And they started from a lower point and needed 7 years to get to ~59%

Probably helps that
a) 2017 was a button on his career after his case was basically set
b) People like Beltran, and the other two are huge jerks (to say the least)

I don’t think Beltrán is anywhere comparable to those two in terms of being jerks. BB/RC have some pretty distasteful chapters re: women in their lives, for one thing.

Agreed. Sorry if it wasn't clear. I was trying to contrast the well liked outside of 2017 Beltran with guys who genuinely suck beyond their on field stuff
