Where I work, they allow and promote all sorts of unpaid internships/training. It is ridiculous.

It was a college thing, encouraged because we could earn credit, and the local "zine" used that information to hire interns to create the entire thing while the 2 owners of the newspaper would tell us what to do and when to get done and relied on 100% free interns to get their job done.
