Personally, I'm remaining open to it, but it does feel a little like announcing Nightreign and The Duskbloods one after the other is a weird move. Either one in isolation is already kind of a hard sell, even if they don't end up meriting all the negativity, but both together might compound it a bit.

These new games must be relatively cheap and fast to make.
I wonder if this way of production giving miyazaki breathing room for other passion projects like bloodborne.
These are just maximalizations of those aspects
Could it be Miyazakis start is falling?
It makes my head shudder uncontrollably...
I appreciate all the work you do! Thank you and hope you're having a nice day :)
I just hope they learn the co-op lesson and the next "proper" soulslike is easy to party up and take friends with you to share the experience.
Souls has saw much more success, but is that enough? I dunno.
Let em cook.
woke: being excited FromSoft are trying new stuff out
bespoke: being mad FromSoft aren't making Another Century's Episode 4
So far the only thing Nightreign seems to retain in that formula is the difficult part.
Duskbloods doesn't have an ER worth of world building to leapfrog off of so it will l have to sell us on its world first.
i do agree its kinda weird seeing 2 multiplayer games back to back
focusing on multiplayer is cool in my opinion, they're trying new stuff and i think for the better
essentially, having a 'Main Project' and multiple smaller scale Side Projects. in the past this would be Souls DLC, now we have standalones
The modern souls game fanart with the "spell apps" is AGING SO POORLY
