So I think troll farms are like any other workplace. Some people are better at their jobs than others. Everyone has a different skill set. Not everyone is in the right position for their skill set.
I went on TikTok the other day and it was all fake ads of men growing out their hair to make wigs for their daughters with alopecia. As though that’s the logical solution…. My feed was like ten different versions!
There are some REALLY gullible people out there. Think about it - people allegedly voted for Trump for a second term because they didn't "remember" the horror show his first term was.
The kids are going to say you need to train the algorithm by liking stuff etc but I think the more obvious choice is to just stop using those crappy websites that make you do extra steps to see human made content.
They have two comments and just use them over and over. I’d ask if people fall for this, but I’ve been around some in my family so I already know the answer.
They’re tagged as things like “gaming video creator” so they’re probably getting spread by a bunch of interest keywords. Two of the admins of a related Aviationmafia group are Asian guys, one of whom claims to be “branch manager at Yeshiva Ruach Hatorah” which seems…unlikely.
When I went to delete my Facebook in January my feed was loaded weird AI slop like this. I'd only ever used it for communicating with friends and family from real life, never liked any weird pages or interacted with anything else at all. It's wild they let it get like this.

•who are the intended audience?
•are they expected to respond to it at face value?
•what will be the larger social effect of this (if any)?
Yeah. That’s not gonna happen.
Can you read my story and donate a small amount?
