NHTSA requires automakers to report crashes of vehicles equipped with advanced driver assistance systems or automated driving systems that result in a fatality, hospital-related injury, tow-away, airbag deployment, or pedestrian or bicyclist. 💵 Musk will use his political power to nix this rule.
Maybe when they were the only band at the show I would've gotten one 5 years ago. But now? There's so many that blow Tesla out the parking lot in quality.
The many employees who are shareholders and over 70% of the shareholders voted for that TWICE. I agree Elon is messed up, but him and the Tesla shareholders should be allowed fair due process.
A guy who is WAY too distracted by several other companies plus trying to ruin democracy around the world is hardly worth 50 billion dollars to one of the companies..
One of the Tesla influencers on YouTube, Electrified, said yesterday that now the judgement is being appealed and the shareholders are insisting to be part of the process from now on. Also Elon & his brother were not allowed to vote.
70% of shares. The whole problem is that the shareholders believe that is owed that. Originally, it was estimated that he would earn around $1b for I think 5 years but the company stock price did so well that it ballooned to $50b.
Because the board has had anyone who might disagree with him purged, and the shareholders are acutely aware that the share price is vastly inflated because it’s a meme techbro stock - if you compare the cap to that of car companies that make far more, rather than tech, it’s ridiculous.
I'm with you on this one: 2018 Model S is a phenomenal vehicle. Tesla's customer care, on the other hand, has gone from treating buyers like royalty to treating them like shit.
Maybe - just maybe - siding with a climate change-denying, electrification-opposing, wannabe fascist is not the smart business decision that someone thought it was. #JustMaybe
Who gives a damn. The cars are shit, explode, and are constantly recalled because the company is run by an incompetent drug addict. The whole company is a fucking joke at this point.
Musk doesn’t care about cars. Tesla is focused on robotics. So he doesn’t care about losing climate-concerned customers. I would never buy a Tesla because of Musk, but I also think such a decision has no effect on Tesla’s long term value.
His robots are way way behind other companies and the demos still seem to be human controlled. I don't get why investors haven't figured out he's a con man
Funny that it's still priced like a tech/growth stock and not a car manufacturer, even though growth has clearly stalled. It's got a lot farther to fall.
When your target customer is those most concerned with the environment, oil production and sustainability, then you align yourself with their arch nemesis, it’s bound to happen.
Tesla more than doubled after the U.S. election and currently has a PE ratio of 110 with a market cap at $1.3Trn. So the market is pricing in that Mr Musk can extract a rent of > $150bn pa for the next 4 years which is 20% of the defense budget. Maybe the stock is priced a bit on the rich side.
LMAO that was just 3D renderings and bullshit demos controlled by humans. There are companies far ahead of Tesla in this space. But everyone looks to Elon like some Oracle. Can't wait until it crashes and burns.
Speaking of, I think people are finally waking up to Tesla being a death trap.
Source? Because McConnell's SIL drowned, unable to get out. The Vegas PD said they had to have Tesla remotely unlock that CyberTruck. The doors should have easily accessible manual handles, not hidden behind panels, etc
The biggest factor in my mind is there was no viable competition. We had a Bolt in 2017 at 230 mile range, got a Tesla in 2020 at 300+ miles because it was the only game in town. Now there are lots of options at 300+.

I know this is going to be a very unpopular statement but I really like my Tesla.
but I will never buy another.
"Tesla vehicles have the highest fatal crash rate of any car brand in the U.S..."
Elon Musk produces poor quality, poorly designed, unsafe vehicles targeting the insecure consumer.
Tesla Model Y is the safest vehicle made in quantity.
I bet they will sell less than 1M in 2025:
More and more EVs options in the market
Cheap chinese EVs
Musk effect
There’s no paucity of better alternatives
This is why Space Karen backed Trump - to ensure the flow of tax dollars comes his way....
