To write a "well-structured prompt" for such a complex task takes probably a good hour. In some cases even longer.
It's not like just writing a question down and expect the AI doing some magic. To get high-quality answers from the AI actually needs a pretty well-done prompt.
You also need to have a good idea what the answer is, to write a good prompt. And possibly it will take several iterations (especially if you actually read, check, and think about the output).
Which makes the whole thing doubly pointless and wasteful.
Yes, well, he needs to spend the other hour just trying to purge the caffeine from his system because he spent 58 minutes doing nothing but drink coffee when he has no work to do because he showed employers that's he's redundant.
At first read I thought he skipped over the hour spent rephrasing his input so that the LLMs would actually start processing stuff in the way he thought he wanted. But I see he did sneak it in with the subtraction.
An interesting phenomenon with AI devotees is that their reading might be primarily LLM output and that in turn cooks their brain and changes their own sense of language such that it can be quite difficult to tell what is the AI and what is an AI dumbass.
As has been pointed out elsewhere it’s a logic amenable to fascism — because it encourages the deployment of word slurry, none of which the user expects to be held to, as a brute force way of claiming power and status that they believe is a birthright denied to them by virtue of the fact they suck
