There's an increasing amount of research on the impact of the father's health on several pregnancy related complications such as preeclampsia. Men also have an important role to play in decreasing the risk factors of pregnancy.

After my 3rd baby I had hypertension (didn’t have it while pregnant. It started right after she was born).

Beyond grateful for my wonderful, compassionate doctor. She had me in the office weekly for a month until things went back to normal.

The extreme pain of massive haemorrhage is seldom mentioned - and the best drugs that the best-equipped hospitals can offer don’t even touch the edges.

Not talked about enough - what massive haemorrhage actually means - in any setting - let alone where transfusions aren’t available.
