I was going to order calamari and decided to google squid facts first. I saw they may be as smart as dogs and they can count- so we ordered something vegan- you were quoted in the article I found and I was so excited- “I know her” LOL!

Can I interest YOU in this posting from Pew that I discovered while looking for jobs there in my area of expertise (not squid—yet) but with which I have since become obsessed? From the looks of it, whoever gets this job is de facto ruler of all squid.

I’m wondering how the squid who are on Pew’s hiring committee for this job are selected. Are all squid over a certain age eligible for nominated? Do they vote by secret ballot deep beneath the seas?
