Don’t use “DEI.” Spell out diversity, equity, and inclusion. Don’t let bad faith actors hide behind three letters to justify their poor behavior or create a catchall term to mask their racism, ignorance, and malicious intent. Push back by making the actual words seen. Make them work for it.
