But it is also the case that Dems are trying new stuff, INCLUDING on immigration. It's true that people refuse to look to see if Dems are doing the things that have gotten people arrested if they don't get arrested.

It's also true that Dems are unable to do their day job on reconciliation -- which they have to deal with one way or another -- and that if they could, it could have a devastating effect on Trump.

They have limited damage. But not incurred pain on right wingers for killing health care

Fair - but then things roll down (politically) to leaders of committees who can report on what's going on, lead investigations, etc. And Crockett is bowing out because "leadership doesn't like her style" and she doesn't want to distract.

If the D's refuse to appeal to the young voters, they will continue to not show up at the polls. We literally have ONE SHOT next year to start the swing.

And for my part, I agree with that. In this particular case, what I want is for them to, if they're not going to make a particular issue the main one they're focusing on, at least exercise some discretion on what they call a distraction.

However, all the average voter will see/understand is that they are the highest ranking, and effectively leaders, of the party

I think a lot of those people screaming for Schumer and Jeffries to "do something" or "to resign" are basically just projecting because we voters failed to do our job in this last election and want a scapegoat instead of a reconning.
