Ah, that's unfortunate- that game's really chill and enjoyable. I think it's hard to market a tower defense game when lots of folks are used to them being kinda mobile trash. Real shame when they put so much care into it's design, aesthetic, and being an action hybrid.

I wouldn't say "insufficient" but rather "confusing". I feel like the game got the usual Capcom coverage but even after it was out, people didn't really know what it was about or understood the gameplay. An absolute gem and one of the best games of the year that sadly will go unnoticed

Finished this some time ago, but honestly, I couldn't have told you how this should've been marketed. I played it because of the CAPCOM name + being on Game Pass and what I played was a JP exclusive PS3 game that never would've made it to the US for being too difficult to translate 15 years ago

Yeah honestly this game is practically unmarketable outside of its incredible aesthetic lmfao. It's a hybrid tower defense strategy/character action game evoking Shinto ritual? In this day and age I would be surprised if a game of its idiosyncrasies even attracted a few ten thousand eyeballs on it
