Maybe he’s divorced because he voted for Trump in 2016 and this was his way of telling his ex wife he was really, really, sorry he helped Trump get to this point.
Yes God - as you know angry people with nothing left to lose (except crappy cyber Trucks) are sending clear messages to the world - ultimately ending their lives hoping they get answers from you.
Something to consider: the driver was Special Forces. I attended DLI with some of these guys. They are very well trained and focused individuals who have ridiculous attention to detail. Not the type who would carelessly have a bad combo of combustible materials in a dangerous configuration.
I agree. A truck full of camping gas and fire works? I assumed the guys that make it this far in special forces have a real plan and proper follow through. Not a Daytona beach fireworks show. Lot more to this story.
My best guess: he was poutraged (yes that's spelled correctly) with trump and musk going back on campaign promises and wanted to blow up a Tesla outside a trump hotel.
It was a definite message to tRump and Elonia. What that message was we will not know unless he wrote something down somewhere. It absolutely was not a happy message.
Just because that guy an hero'd in a cybertruck doesn't mean the rest of the hive-mind died. If they are starting to act in this manner then the rest of the hive-mind will start acting in that manner.
IMHO…I think it’s a warning to Trump. Wasn’t there a news story about one of the Middle East countries being pissed at Trump for the assassination of one of their top leaders? I do believe they threatened to avenge his death.
Coincides with the fight over H-1B's. Now I'm not saying he was a bitter, enraged racist but he did have a really weird attachment to fireworks. Just like a bitter, weird racist would.
That’s what I thought. Perhaps it was more about the hotel owner.
Or perhaps people who served their country honorably and have been denied, delayed, debased enough have had all they can bear.
According to AP, he is (was) a Green Beret and he shot himself in the head before the truck exploded. He was obviously trying to make a statement, but I hope he left a note that details what his rationale was.
Why kill your self to try to send a message to two narcissists who won’t accept the message? They’ll twist it around to place blame on anyone but themselves. That is a fact.
The police should've been able to look inside. Yes, it could be possible that someone did go boom in there but with Tesla quality, highly unlikely that it was a guy going kaboom.
Self-immolation has been around a long time as a way to make a strong policy statement.
Trump & Elon are finally letting their followers know what grifters they really are.
We will probably see more trained soldiers make similar statements when their benefits are cut & their kids are starving.
Nope, it probably was a drunk soldier going to pick up his MAGA buddy at the trump hotel in an electrical vehicle full of pyrotechnics in a higher electrostatic charged environment and the spark did the rest
You can make a man do anything if you have incriminating photos or threaten their family. This a message but not from him. If it was from him,he would have made it worthwhile. The message is 'I can get to you here in US'.There are governments who put effort into building up assets such as this guy.
It doesn’t say a lot about Tesla that when one of their vehicles explodes we aren’t sure if it was a bomb or just the vehicles rapid unscheduled disassembly.
It looks like a freshman year end project of someone who flunked out of design school and moved on to a more appropriate career path like 3rd shift packer at an Amazon warehouse in Alabama.
I mean, a big banner would have got a message across more effectively methinks, but sure, making a cybertruck do something it can do all by itself is certainly something. This is the problem with cryptic messaging...

It’s unfortunate that we don’t have a VA system that can provide proper mental health care for our vets.

At this rate, soon Twitter will be Elon Musk talking to an army of chatbots, with a few random folks who haven't left yet just wandering around.
Or perhaps people who served their country honorably and have been denied, delayed, debased enough have had all they can bear.
