People who like these old buildings need to contend with the simple question of why yuppies with lots of money prefer to pay extra to live in these supposedly inferior buildings. The answer is pretty obvious. It's because they're actually superior. In-unit laundry, insulation, etc.

It is obviously FINE to cook in, but very small compared to the kinds of kitchens in older buildings. If you *like* to cook, you will likely not like this.
