shout out to all the writers and artists who take forever to finish something. I get it, bro. I take a long time too. but your worth as a writer/artist isn't built upon production. so just keep striding it out. keep taking those steps. we each have our own race track. we'll get to the finish line

and I'd tell you to finish your world building... but I'm in the same boat with another book I'm outlining💀
And thanks! I’m going to try book binding with pure hopes and dreams 😭
- instrumental, or lower volume lyrical music
- a video of some scenery on a 2nd monitor (a long driving stream for me)
- write my upcoming scene in bullet points before writing it out
- Snacks and drinks, I'm serious
I like Two Steps From Hell, Thomas Bergersen for epic stuff, but also some electronic music, and lo-fi playlists on youtube
they have so many different options specifically for noise cancellation and really specific atmospheres that are super customizable

rainy drives have been my favourite to have on the side😌
"And special mention to my wife and children, without whom this book would have been finished two years earlier."
I often take a few weeks to finish something because I procrastinate/ don't have time haha
good luck to you going ahead too eh🍀
good creative vibes your way😌
doing all those at once though, you're crushing it. keep cooking😌🍀
and all the good vibes your way too🍀
#dedication /s
But I know as long as I think about it and seek feedback I will be able to finally get to the point of actually creating it
Nobody’s journey is the same as you said. Keep creating & never give up. Beautiful art & stories take time. We got this.❤️✍🏻🎨
you're exactly right, no two paths are the same
that follow me will what on me. Even if it takes me quite a while to make whatever I might be working on
Greatness take time, so take yours.
I do want to eventually write my own book but my brain really doesn't like me usually, so I've just been practicing with short stories while listening to audio books to help learn how to write better.
Thank you!
I needed this today.
Because some days it's really hard to think it is worth it.
glad you found me though, I've been so bad at finding others on my own💀
The issue is which road to take to reach them. 6 months in, only 53 pages. 3 chapters.
This post here is so important art truly influences us we artists balance the chaos have a smashing day and thank you
And yet everything is barely seen. How am I supposed to see art as a job if there's no more than 100 people to appreciate it?
