I’m still not over how my favorite character to use in State of Decay died. She was ripped in half by one the big zombies. I had kept everyone alive up to that point, and didn’t k or it was a permadeath.

Permadeath was controversial even among the twenty of us making the game. I think it the end it helped us stand out a bit from the crowd, but I also hated seeing my favs get killed. 😅

I just watched the tale foundry video the other day on “Moldy worldbuilding”, and immediately thought of that when I saw the trailer. There really is something captivating about fiction set in a beautiful but dangerous world surrounded by the ruins of man’s past.
