Moving from VHS to DVD allowed me to skip it.
I’ll say it
Love is Gone has the wrong ratio of humans to muppets, as it has no muppets.
This is worse than when I got a copy of A Muppet Family Christmas and they cut the snowman song.
It breaks the pacing and is sung by a human character with little presence outside of this moment.
Maybe if it was Old Scrooge singing about how he messed things up, while we watch the young couple drift apart…

I'm well aware it's not for a lot of folks but mirroring the sadness of "The Love is Gone" with the joy of "The Love We Found" is kind of the emotional core of the film
