Straightened and set every single limb on this thing. Took an entire day to resurrect her. Tomorrow, she gets dressed. I would love to see your trees progress.

Widowed for 5 years now I finally decorated for Christmas. Didn't want to cut a tree and didn't want to resurrect our last one so I bought EIGHT btwn 3 and 4.5 ft. They look sensational.
Is it common around the country to wait so late into December to decorate the tree? Growing up, we usually did it the first of December, and I've continued that with my family. I know some people who don't do it until Christmas Eve!
I believe it just depends on family traditions. Growing up we always put the tree up the day after Thanksgiving. I have kept to that tradition taking it down New Years day.
Our tree has inbuilt lights so he looks way more dressed than he should. A lot of the branches still need to be separated but at least Father Christmas is where he belongs.
Got her dressed! Presents bought, most wrapped. Done decorating. Cards and packages sent. Just need to clean, and cook. Hope your Holiday is as good as mine, heck I hope it’s better! 😉
Top portion of tree is my son's collection of Charlie Brown and friends ornaments. So many memories hang on that tree.
Happy holidays to one and all! Make precious memories! 🌲❤️
Going to have to be tomorrow. I'm beat. This thing was a complete mess coming out of the box. I just shoved it in there last time used this smaller tree. Paid for it today.
Allergic to real trees so pretty much always had a fake tree. When I moved into my house 15 yrs ago my mom gave me theirs bc she was tired of putting it up. I figured out this tree has now been the tree for my Xmas at least half my life. Parents bought it at least 23 yrs ago (dad died 22 yrs in Jan)
We used the small one this year. Saved zero time doing that. Last time I used this one I just shoved it in the box when I was done. It was a MESS coming out of the box.
I thought Texan Christmas trees were so tall aircraft have to steer around them!😜🤣🤣 So much for National stereotypes! ( I’m sure it will look great + keep up the good work exposing those trumpist maga idiots!)
So far. A few more hours of work left.
*Gotta brag about my bargain - $82 after Xmas last year for this 9-ft pre-lit! I'm so proud that I was able to wait for after Xmas sales!
Here’s mine. The first tree in over 30 years. Will have the entirety of my wife’s family all together for the first time ever at one table. 4 generations. A tree was a requirement. We bought ornaments over 10 years ago. Nice to finally hang them.
After my family put up our tree the day after Thanksgiving, I walked into the room and stated that like everything else in our house, it was leaning left. 🤣 It still is. He’s refused to straighten it on principle. 🤭😉
Growing up in LA after complementing it, my mom would have wrapped everything on your art tree with duct tape so it was properly earthquake proofed. And we had cats.
That would only be the beginning. She'd do every plate, dish and cup you have in your cupboards, any furniture that weighs less than 1,000 pounds but thank goodness she never super-secured any of the toilet seats!
She looks great. I personally don’t put too much effort into getting the limbs straight, just happy that it has a treelike shape, but the lights need to be spaced perfectly or else. Letting my wife decorate the rest of it.
I live in the forrest
So I have a million
Xmas trees and they are fully dressed today
And you did a dam good job with your tree 🌲- looks awesome so far
Had to buy an artificial tree while raising my family in Texas. I always cut live trees prior to that. Didn't want to deal with hitchhikers (spiders etc.) inside my house. Been using this ever since. Please note that there are no Cowboys ornaments on the tree this year. Had it with Jerry Jones.
Paul, we bought a 9' beast from a moving sale. Have no idea how old it was when we got it,(Can't count the rings on a fake tree!)But we have had it at least 20 years. Many of the branch ends have no 'leaves' at all.
I sing 'Old tetanus tree, Old tetanus tree - is this the year you kill me?"
We haven’t gotten ours yet 😱. First year in memory we have been this late. To be fair, my youngest graduated with their masters on Friday so that took precedent 😊
Well... as soon as I can find it, I'll put up my Charlie Brown Christmas 🎄! It was given to me years ago. Had to replace the ornament but still use that tree!

Thinking of maybe leaving it up all year! 🤗
Took the easy way. Arranged nothing but Santa 😂
Might upgrade yet. Our tree is 10' tall 🥴
